Governance and Politics is a Russian open access peer-reviewed journal. The journal was created in 2020 and is aimed at rapid and high-quality growth among the best journals in the field of political science. The idea arose at one of the most intensively and successfully developing Faculties in Russia in the field of political science and public administration – School of Governance and Politics of MGIMO University, and immediately received support and recognition. The journal aims to publish original and outstanding fundamental, theoretical and research manuscripts in Political Science.

The journal is of interest to the scientific community, practitioners, politicians, and students.

The Head of the Editorial Board is Anatoly Torkunov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, one of the most prominent Russian international affairs specialists, Rector of MGIMO University.

The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is Henry Sardaryan, Doctor of Political Science, Russian representative in the UN Expert Committee on Public Administration, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, Dean of School of Governance and Politics of MGIMO University.
